Your Trusted Hometown Hearing Care Choice in St. Thomas, ON

The county seat of Elgin County, St. Thomas, ON gained its charter in 1881 at the intersection of two historical roads and was named for early settler Thomas Talbot. In the late 19th century and early 20th century, several railways were constructed through the city, making the community an important railway junction, giving rise to automobile manufacturing.

After closing the Ford Assembly Plant and Sterling Truck Assembly Plants in 2009 and 2010, the St. Thomas’s economy took a significant hit, but Masco Canada’s consolidation of their Canadian operations into the former Sterling Truck assembly plant and Toyota supplier Takumi Stamping expansion helped ease the overall impact. The St. Thomas Raceway Park (drag racing), the Trans Canada Trail, Pinafore Park, beside Pinafore Lake, Waterworks Park, which is straddled by Kettle Creek and Dalewood Reservoir provide plenty of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors.

Since 2015, Hometown Hearing Centre has focused on helping individuals with hearing challenges in St. Thomas reconnect and communicate with loved ones and the community. Our innovative hearing centre provides compassionate hearing healthcare, exceptional service, and advanced hearing aid technology.
