Your Trusted Hometown Hearing Care Choice in Stoney Creek, ON
Stoney Creek, ON was officially an independent city from 1984 to 2001 but was amalgamated with the rest of the cities of the Regional Municipality of Hamilton–Wentworth. First inhabited by Canadian First Nations and later explored by French-Canadian fur traders, the area was settled by Loyalists fleeing the American Revolution in the late 1700s and became known for fruit growing.
In the past decades, Stoney Creek has developed the quality and reputation of Ontario wines, becoming part of the fringes of the Niagara winery region while agriculture is slowly losing ground to the residential needs of Hamilton. Attractions include the Winona Peach Festival, which serves up homegrown fruit, crafts and music, the Stoney Creek Flag Festival, held every summer, as well as Battlefield House and the Erland Lee Museum, site of the first Women’s Institute in the World.
Hometown Hearing Centre, established in 2015, is dedicated to helping those with hearing challenges reconnect and communicate with family, friends, and their community in Stoney Creek.
